Who would have expected one year ago how EMMA 2010 Season Kick Off would look like? The desire for some upwind for the Sound Off Scene was also a driving force, to choose the Saxon Metropolis Leipzig with its famous Car Exhibitions AMI/AMITEC and their brand new mobile media exhibition format AMICOM for a new venue of the EMMA Kick Off. With an great 2010 Sound Off premier, a thrilling stage show, a round-the-clock-live installation, professional workshops, a highly motivated judge team, buzzing VIP celebrities and a great Saturday Night Party the international EMMA competitors started in Leipzig into a powerful, promising 2010 season. 80 vehicles from 13 European EMMA nations traveled with their visually and acoustically impressive mobile media installations to Leipzig in order to receive their system check based on the EMMA rulebook. This array of sound, show & shine on four wheels was also an impressive highlight to the AMI/AMITEC/AMCIOM visitors so their presentation at competition area became a highly frequented hot spot during the weekend. While the EMMA competitors launched their season under the ears and eyes of the EMMA judge team, the exhibition audience enjoyed the effort to experience how real enthusiasts marvel their sound systems and celebrate the capacity of their installations. Even well-known celebrities brought a lot of special flair and thrill to the AMICOM Car Media Hall: Famous Tuning Angel Katharina Kuhlmann and her film team came to interview manufacturers about latest product highlights and to get a closer look at the audiophile vehicles of Kick Off participants and exhibitors. Rally Champion Armin Schwarz signed EMMA judge shirts and chatted with show presenter and EMMA academy lecturer Gernot - alias Dr. Gossip - about all facets of sound on four wheels and other motorized pleasure. The presence of more than 90 000 visitors at the Kick Off weekend did
not influence the professionalism of the judge team from 14 countries
judging the cars in all classes of Sound Quality, Sound Pressure and
Multi Media formats. |
