A new record
76 competitors came to the Austrian Championships!
This weekend, the Austrian EMMA Finals were held together with the Tuning-Festival
near Linz. Of course one "motor" for this years growing car
audio events in Austria, was the decision, to organize the European Finals
in Wels. 76 qualified competitors have signed the national finals and
made classes up to 8 competitors reality. Even if it was a hard job for
the judges, to catch the schedule, exactly at 6 p.m. in time, the price
giving ceremony started. And it started with some surprises: In ESPL
Advanced 8W Place 1 and 2 had the same install points and the same measurement
result, so the final ranking was done by the loudest value of 145,2 dB.
Also in SQ rankings were at close quarters, and even judges had no idea
who did the final race till the result was announced.
Currently EMMA Austria has opened the registration for European Finals.
Based on the Final Result and the all-year-ranking lists for EMMA Racing
and Multimedia, Austria will send competitors in all 25 EMMA categories
to the European Finals.. So rest of Europe, be prepared to meet one of
us in YOUR category in Wels!
