Under the sun

            After last November’s successful training
in Manila, Emma was invited back to hold the second training session
            in Cebu. February 22, 23 and 24.
The training was held at the Outpost Restaurant in Cebu which was
an ideal location for the training.
The level of the participants in Cebu was very high similar to that
that we had in Manila at the first training. On the Sunday, practical
training was done on 3 cars, so the new judges had “real time “ training.
All the judges passed the written and practical exam. The Philippines
can boast that they have the first Asian female EMMA judge, the pride
of Cebu, Michelle. Congratulations Michelle well done. By the way
Michelle is also a very successful Drifter driver and has won a few
            competitions in the Philippines.

3 judges come from Manila to help out during the training. I was
really impressed by the enthusiasm shown by the old and new judges.
Cebu Tv also paid the Emma team a visit and will be showing a short
clip about Emma International and Emma Philipines.
I had some very memorable experiences with the cars built for so-called “outside
            listening pleasure”.
From my point of view the future of EMMA in the Philippines will
          grow from strength to strength.
          EMMA Philippines kick off event
in Manila will be held from April 3 to April 5 in conjunction with
the Manila International Auto Show 2008.
The 2nd Event will be held in Cebu at the end of May.
From me once again “Ladies and Gents” Congratulations. 1.
