The new Age
Like in the past years the Schoenblick Hotel in Fichtelberg was the place for the Head Judge training. With more than 50 Particpants it was a bit smaller then usual because for some participants the fact that it was the second time within one year caused problems with their days free from regular work. The decision regarding that was to send some trainers in those Nations who were not able to send someone to Fichtelberg.
Most of the attendents where the same like in former lessons and so the traini ng was more a discussion about how to use the rules in practise and how to define them. Also a couple of changes were agreed so that the Rulebook especially in ESPL will be changed regarding categories and classes. The changes will be available for download soon here at the emmanet.com website.
In addition to the rulebook issues many questions like communication, PR and Media works, relations to sponsors have been discussed intensivly. As a result some task force groups are going to be established. One group shall take care about the development of rules and another one about general marketing aspects. The will to help in these commitees to higher the professionality of EMMA in total was huge and it showes that many of the participants are willing to spend their time and energy to increase the shows and competitions EMMA is running.
On friday after all the trainings and discussions were
finished two competition cars have beeen judged under the new modular
installation rules. This helped to make all understand that this is
totally different from the previous ones and everyone could evaluate
this in the practical lessons. In the evening the group went to the
local church for a small Gospel concert and in the end for an explanation
how an organ is constructed. After that was finished the Party was
started like always surrounded by some live music of young artist from
Bayreuth supported by the musicians from EMMA, special the russian
ones. Because of their company holidays the usual place in the old
mill was closed so that the atmosphere was not that unique like the
last years. But of course it was a great fun again while opening the
Berr barrels
The last day of the week was started with presentation of the new EMMA
racing rules and continued by a presentation of the new EMMA competition
DVD. Therefore EMMA invited the engeneer from Cap a pie studios to explain
the ideas around the new CD/DVD in detail. The evenening was closed early
in the morning of sunday after an emotional ceremony as well as a great
Dinner provided by the Hotels professionl cooks.
As a conclusion is to discover that EMMA started now to become much more professional as well as increasing the community and friendship between all realted persons.
