Starting on Wednesday march 5 o divide all participants into two groups. Group 1 was educated to the Rulebook and CD and group 2 was discussiong development of rules and CD. The second group was very focused on how to develop the rules to an even higher standard as it has already. During the discussion came out that no major modifications are neccessary because the the rules have been fully accepted by the competitors and beside the fact that a new CD will come out in 2009 also the SQ rules have been not modified at all.

It was agreed that there will be a small addendum published which defines some questions coming up from competitors side in some of the countries. The addendum 2008 is available >> here

The major changes in 2009 will be that the pure passsive category will be skipped and therefore a Pure Sound Advanced and a Pure Sound Master will be added. Also a fourth Multi Media Category will come. Until these issues are finally agreed they have a project status but latest in Summer 2008 all new categories will be fixed and published

Of course all newcomers have been invited to join the great community in Fichtelberg and so it came that many new faces have been seen. Here an overview of the changes:

Spain has a new EMMA Partner. A new contract for Spain has been signed by Luis Miguel Albinana Herraiz and the EMMA CEO´s. Luis Miguel´s EMMSI Institute will be the first international EMMA Academy Partner. Already doing many trainings on high professional level EMMSI will be able to offer all standardised EMMA educations which have been worked out already and will be included in the development of the international certification modus starting in 2009. Ukraine will get a new leadership since EMMA international is now claiming against the illegal registration of the EMMA Logo through the Car + Music Magazine. More Information soon

Israel will get a new leader who is Evgeny Gurfinkel and he will take care about the positive development in Israel.

On Friday all together were attending the probe of the Symphony Orchestra of the Music School in Bayreuth. It was an unique chance to sit direct to an orchestra with more than 60 Musicians and have a chance to get an impression without the reflections and the distance of a concert hall. After that the Old Mill again was the place to Party and some of the head Judges showed that they can even sing together with the Rockband EMMA organised to entertain the guests.

As the resume of this yeears meeting it can be stated that the EMMA community is getting stronger and stronger and also the representatives from EMMA´s main Sponsors Alpine and Pioneer will support the further grow of " the world´s coolest SQ Organisation" --))
