IASCA/EMMA
France The Smooth Roaring of France Burgundy, one of Europe’s most famous vine-region was hosting a great July weekend spectacle. At the legendary Magny Cours Formula 1 circuit 40 000 French as well as international Hot Rodders and Car Stereo Enthusiasts met for a two-day fun filled sound- and tuning event. The location was the perfect place to meet lots of fast cars, furious drifters, smoky Burnouts, Crazy Motor Bike jumps, sun tanned tuning freaks and sexy girls cleaning fancy show cars. More than 60 sound cars met at the IASCA/EMMA competition area which was surrounded by a huge village populated by France’s top mobile media brands. A team of judges from three countries – France, Germany and Switzerland – were on demand to judge competition cars in the disciplines ESPL and Sound Quality. The bible of the judge team was the EMMA rulebook. Perfect summer weather, a highly motivated ISCA/EMMA team and a huge come together of thrilling show cars made a great scene for this sound off. The roaring motors and the hot rhythms of the industry show cars gave proof to French hot rodders that not only a well tuned motor is able to deliver great sound. Focal, Pioneer, Alpine, Ground Zero, Harman/JBL/Infity, MTX and many more Mobile Media brands invited to experience their sound cars. The French IASCA organised a live installation where a team of two pro installers had to build an audio system into a Fiat Punto. A great step into the integration of France into the EMMA Network was the mixing of the judge teams which was highly appreciated by the competitors and a couple of new friendship relations have been the result of this amazing Sound Off in the heart of France. >> Picture Gallery from Magny Cours >> back to Report Index |
