Show Off 2008 in Sinsheim

Like in the last years the small town of Sinsheim in Germany´s
south was the target of all Car Audio enthusiasts from all over the
          world.
Around 160 Manufacturers showed their product innovations for the season
          2008
          and of course
EMMA held it´s international kick off, as the top event around
          the exhibition.

The Hall 4 was again the place where the most creative people met around
the team area´s of Pioneer, Audison, Brax, Genesis, JBL, Alpine,
Standartplast, Blaupunkt and DLS. In total more then 150 participants
          showed off and made the
hall to a great demonstration what is possible. The competitors came
from 15 nations, a new record for this event and were judged by a
team from 10 nations under the leadership of Leo Bergamini/Swiss as
event director and the Head Judges Sabina Cravero/Italy and Rene Krosse
Kraft/Germany. Their joib was to care about a free of problem judging
procedure and so they did as leaders of the team with 30 members from
          11 Nations.

Because of the need to chnage the concept of Saturday evening entertainment
a new idea was born. The name "NO Party" which attracted around 500
          guests. Invited
          by EMMA
          and
          powered
          by
          Team Pioneer
          who
          sponsored
the 1000 Liters of Beer. The complete hall changed into a chill out
zone where the competitors showed their cars and the industry people
sit together and discussed in a relaxed athmosphere inside and around
          their lounges.

On Sunday morning the second EMMA international Industry forum was
held and the interested representatives from the car audio industry
received an overview about the Projects EMMA intl is working on. The
Sponsors agreed to support EMMA in establishing a series of "similar
          to Sinsheim" events accross Europe.

On the competition field there was a couple of new faces to see who
attended an EMMA competition first time but also the old foxes were
again on the spot. The ceremony itself brought not too much surprises
and the newcomers have to work hard, but they come closer.

The absolut highlight was the award ceremony of the five EMMA@work
supercup teams who have been extremely nervous. The presentation in
front of the Alpine Lounge was a full success and attracted thousands
of the Expo´s visitors. never before five different teams were
able to build a competition car with exact the same equipment. The
          winning
team from Romania impressed with a big old wine barrel they brought,
designed with Dracula reloaded Logo and the fitting costumes. Also
the others can be happy about having build such great cars which we
will proberbly see agian at the Eurofinals competing in the regular
          event.

Really surprising was the enormous interest on the EMMA Academy´s workshops which
have been in fron of the EMMA booth. Ther some of the oproessionals
showed how to damp, how to build tweeters into a-pillars and similar
craftman works. In total we received more that 100 requests about the
seminars offered in Germany, but soon also in Spain.

The trend which is pro EMMA inside the Industry, the Installers and the
cutomers is getting more dynamic and we can expect neven m ore great
        events in the upcoming season.
