Immediate success
on the first South European Championships all expectations have been more then fullfilled. With over 20 000 Visitors on the weekend of September 7/8 and 74 participants from Croatia, Italy, Austria, Germany and of course Slovenia. It was an interessting challenge for the international Judge team. The level is already top and it was clear to see that the cars are prepared for the great showdown in Herning in October. Especially in the design the slovenian competitors do have great ideas and their concept cars will earn many points in the future.
Remarkable was the concept of the show. Covering the whole spectrum of Mobile Inerests, starting from Motorcycles and Oldtimers up to Live Installtion shows, Car Audio Competition and Live Bands on stage. In total 164 Exhibitors showed their products and they used the beautiful slovenian Girls to do that. The Party inside the Expo Centre on Saturday night was crowded with around 600 guests who had a buffet and lots of drinks, Cocktails and Beers.
The organiser Jaka Seles, an "old EMMA Veteran " and actual European Champion spended more then three months to organise that event and he was very happy when all ceremony was over. His comment was that with an increase of 120 % more visitors in comparison to the premier last year he is satisfied. Now the planning for 2008 has already started and to use this show for an upcoming Eurofinal is also in discussion.
