EMMA Arabia held its first Judge training on the September 25th and the several weeks after that on October 14-16 started its first EMMA competition at Middle East. The event happened concurrently with Middle East Motor Tuning Show in UAE at Expo Centre Sharjah. Everything went well and the feedback from the participants and visitors side was very positive. We are highly appreciating support of our partner and sponsor PIONEER Gulf FZE which represents PIONEER products in the Middle East region. It was first EMMA event in UAE and it was very first car audio competition where so much attention was paid to quality of sound, quality of installation. Participants got their first experience of participation on so professional level. And it was amazing performance for spectators. In total more than 75000 visitors attended the show where EMMA Arabia held its first competition. The whole events was filled with entertainment and prizes. All participants’ cars got enormous attention of spectators. The best of participants deserved their awards provided by DLS, KICKER, STP and the main prize provided by PIONEER. Competitors from around the country drove to be there. This shows the importance of the first Sound Quality competition by using the EMMA rules in the Arabian World.

After 10 Years of improving the European EMMA Championships are now at the stage where all related group’s wishes to see EMMA. The great layout for the two halls which have been used for the European Championships took care that all the audience got a perfect picture of what is possible to realise in a car and around it. In the second week of October Rotterdam was the place to be. A show with more then 200 cars from 20 Nations at the most important Harbour Metropol in Europe, and above 50 000 visitors came to celebrate themselves and experience the highest possible level of High End Sound, Multi Media Entertainment and Sound pressure excitement.
The indescribable spirit within this group of enthusiasts presenting their masterpieces and their Nations on a peaceful level generated an atmosphere which is really unique. On Friday all the Nations were challenged to present their Country with a special presentation to the Judges and all could experience the best what Europe has to give in terms of food and beverage. It was not a surprise that the Team Italy/San Marino was winning the Trophy and the 500 Euros. Their food and Wine corner was at least the best the Ahoy Centre has ever seen in terms of exquiste food and beverage.

Just a few days to go and the big final will start. Here are some last Information about the 2010 Eurofinals in Rotterdam. The Presentation of Nations will be on Friday starting at noon ( 12 o´clock) to 14 o´clock. In this time a group of selected people will go around inside the Area and see how creative the Countires presented themselves. On Tuursday and Friday the Halls are accessable all day. On Saturday/Sunday only before 9°° and after 18°°.

For the third time the Northern German tuning and mobile media fair Car Style was host of the national sound off championships in all EMMA categories. Some people had expected some more action around the final meeting of the best sound vehicles in Germany. But even the sparse number of visitors at the new Car Style location in Bremen had some true advantages: less noise and not too crowded halls finally mean optimal listening and scoring conditions for judges and competitors. So the season’s showdown of the national EMMA competitions ran smooth, relaxed but at the same time fun filled for all participants. Show and action was granted in the area around the truck of the EMMA finals main sponsor Pioneer which already had traveled to several events in collaboration with their eventpartner DMAX – Germany’s most masculine tv channel. A visit the visit by DMAX’s custom car experts Tuning Alarm! Joe Motzt Auf! Car Style visitors as well as the EMMA team had the opportunity to collect autographs and take pictures. Another advantage of the meager run of visitors: a joint raffle of EMMA sponsors Audio Design, JVC, magnate / Audiovox, Pioneer - only attended by a very manageable number of participants – was bearing huge opportunities to win one of the desired products. The demo cars of EMMA sponsors Audiovox / Magnat, Audio Design and AIV presented perfect car sound and individualized artwork on four wheels to the visitors. To 97 EMMA finalists Sunday the was all about winning nomination. While the judges sat back and relaxed after their work was done, the Sound Off participants anxiously awaited the final outcome. Place One and Two, finally, does not only mean national championship, but also provide the entry into the international EMMA sound elite meeting at Euro final in Rotterdam. In two weeks - as part of the Benelux mega-event 100% Tuning - the Kings of sound from all over Europe with their national award-winning vehicles will gather for the final countdown of the event 2010 season: The EMMA Eurofinals!

The EMMA-UK Finals was held at a brand new event this year at the London Motor Museum, which has a great collection cars on display from classic to hotrods, modern supercars to the batmobile it seemed a perfect location for the emma-uk finals, with 30 competitors ready to fight to win not only the Finals and the UK League but to get the most important invite to the European finals .Despite a number of cars having technical problems, during the preparation of the event or while competing, the quality of cars was impressive. The organisers, judges and office staff were on form, with judging beginning promptly at 10 am and finishing a good hour early, given every one plenty of time during the day to enjoy all that was on offer at the museum itself . The awards ceremony presentation was held by Talk Audio’s very own Adam Rayner who topped the day off presenting the well deserved silverware. Many thanks to all the 2010 EMMA-UK competitors for making the year what it was, we hope to see you in the up and coming 2011 season, and the very best of luck to every competitor heading over to Rotterdam in October .Also a big thanks to the EMMA-UK team and of course the 2010 EMMA-UK sponsors for all there help and support throughout the season.

On the last week-end of August the Final Contest of All-Russia 13th Championship in Autosound and Tuning took place in the City of Kursk. 59 cars from the whole country participated in the event. The participant from Konsomolsk-on –the- Amur took the longest road – more than 8000 km to come. The event became international with the participation of referees and competitors from the Ukraine. More than 25.000 spectators came to watch the best ‘singing cars’ of Russia. The winners of the Russian Championship are getting ready for the European Finals. See you in Rotterdam!

After the premiere of the Show in 2007 with the international South European Championships, the Auto Motor Show is the location for the national Slovenian Final. Located in the Centre of Ljubljana and with a total of 50 cars in competition it is still the biggest Car Audio Competition in Slovenia. And it shall become more in the future. On a meeting with judges from Croatia, Austria and Slovenia a brief plan of establishing a big Southern Show again was discussed. The idea is to make the event in the Capitol to a fixed competition in the international calendar and shall offer the participants of the region to compete on international level. The Expo management showed a big interest to reconfigure the layout and strategy of the Auto Motor Show according to these Ideas. Even in 2010 a couple of international competitors found the way but they were missing the real international spirit. Anyway the Team of EMMA Slovenia did a great job and will start now to work out a concept for 2011 to make this event to one of the major spots in Europe.

During the weekend August 21-22 the swedish EMMA finals was held together with the Vallakra-meeting outside Helsingborg in southern Sweden. The Vallakra-meeting is a big international event with mostly Volvo and other customized cars. Some 20.000 visitors came there to see the great varity of cars with impressive creativity behind. The event is outdoor, but the heavy clouds didn't rain and the sun even broke through at some occasions. The caraudio village had a central position in the event area bringing many spectators to see the finals being held. In total 67 cars came to compete in the swedish caraudio finals. Also the famous DLS ReVolution from Finland was taking part in the competition, the team won Best of Sound only 2 points before Putte's Pioneer Notchback project. EMMA Sweden sends a big thank you to all competitors and judges who took part of the event.

On July, 24-25th EMMA rocked Odessa´s Marina with a huge Auto and Tuning Event and 113 cars have taken part on all the offered formats. Vehikle Demonstration, Drift performances where interested visitors could become passengers at a DRIFT-taxi., an spectacular experience. Furthermore the Spectators have seen retro cars restored and the modified automobile technologies, were brought in contact with recent trends in car styling and car entertainment.
Many Action was accompanied by the show program, Dancing groups and several competitions with prizes. The two days event was visited by more thgen 5000 spectators, so that the EMMA Ukraine Oddessa event is the hot spot in Summer since 5 Years now.

After the great success of the World Soccer in South Africa, also EMMA now follows that direction with a perfect premiere in Johannesburg. First time ever an official EMMA Event was managed to be on the African Continent and again the fellows there showed that they can make it happen. A total of 39 Competitors were present, 18 SQ and 21 ESPL, while over 150 cars were there on display and even more spectators. It hardly ever happens that a competition is combined with a show but EMMA South Africa had great results with this seldom used idea.

The whole day was filled with entertainment and prizes. Competitors from around the country drove a long distance to be there, Sean Blignaut (DLS & JL Audio) from Port Elisabeth drove about 11 hours, and Inba Govender (ARC Audio) from Umtata drove about 8 hours. This shows the importance of the first Sound Quality competition by using the EMMA rules. People were made aware of the power of EMMA and discovered there is more to a car sound competition than pulling into a lane and getting a sound pressure reading.

EMMA is not about secrets and tricks. The aim is to help each and every individual or party grow in this ever expanding industry and the high end competitors rose to this concept and helped out! One of the best things to see is the Masters and Experts handing out friendly advice to the new guys, to help them on their way. A story fully new for the competitors at the place and so EMMA is making a huge impact in the South African 12 volt and car audio industries. Let´s get ready for the next round.

Already the 4th time the international Slovenian EMMA Finals will take place at the biggest car fashion show of the country, the Automotorshow in Ljubljana. EMMA Slovenia is glad to welcome agian many international competitors to show off at this remarkable event.

(this day is optional. All competitors will have a chance to present there projects to the press and let the cars to be heard by the media, entry fee for that day is free for car owners. Cars can arive from 8:00 - 9:00 in the morning. The cars can stay in for the next day.

entrance for competitors is from 8:00 - 8:30, registration fee 25€ for all classes Registration time is until 10:00. Judging proces will be all day from 10:00 to 19:00 by order, which will be available to see in EMMA office. On August 21-22, the Swedish National Finals are held, and we invite all EMMA competitors to sign in for this big event. The location is close to Helsingborg and Malmö. Beginning of the competition is on Saturday at 11°°. The ceremony is planned for Sunday afternoon 15°° o´clock. This event has the international status so the Qualificationspoints count also in the Country of Origin.

125 participants, in Sound Quality, Multi Media, ESPL, and Free Style classes took part on the Agios Stefanos Event in Athens. EMMA never had to handle such a big amount of competitors in only one day but it went smooth and all were happy in the end. In between excellent eating and drinking facilities the 14 judges did a great job starting at 8:30 in the morning and finishing the judging at 18:30 so that the ceremony began punctually 20:30. A premiere was the use of seperate measuring systems for the classical ESPL and the so called free style competitors, a new adapted format for newcomers to the SPL scene. Of course afterwards a tipical greek party took place and all promised to be back again on the next big competition of EMMA Greece.

After discussing with different possible locations in Europe to find a proper place for the 2010 EMMA Eurofinals, the EMMA Team came to the conclusion to do this important event again at the 100% tuning Show in Rotterdam. The dates are from October 6 - 10 at the Ahoy Centre and the program will be based on the experience we had in 2009 where more than 50 000 Visitors came to attend the show. EMMA South Africa held their First Judge training on the 20th & 21st March and the weeks after that a couple of practical training lesseons followed. With the support of DLS South Africa a fist " mini" competition was organised and the judges had the chance to gather experience in a real competition surrounding with all the different categories. Everything went well and the feedback form the participants side was very positive. Now everyone is waiting to come to the first official EMMA competition on August 1.

After changing the management of EMMA Russia the season now started with two events the same weekend. In the South of Russia, in Essentuki, about 80 participants in six nominations (Sound Quality, Multimedia, ESPL, EMMA-Racing, EMMA-Art and EMMA-Tuning) fought for the Cup of Caucases. In the North-Western Region, in St. Petersburg, as part of the "Auto-Spring" festival, 40 competitors have been running for the Cup of Baltia in Sound Quality, Multimedia and ESPL. Along with the Russian competitors there were colleagues from Ukraine (acting also as referees), Finland and Latvia. More than 65000 fans attended the competitions in order to see the works of both the beginners as well as winners of the previous Russian and European Championships. A good start into 2010.

The season 2010 was opened on April, 24-25th in the city of Zaporozhye, as add on to a big Auto Sound and Tuning Show. EMMA UKriane was also juding the Tuners cars in 7 different categories and a total amount of 70 competitoiors showed of on the field. The 5000 visiors of the show could see many restored cars, retro cars and of course modified and tuned vehicles. A cool kick off with potential to become a leading show in Ukraine.

Because of 10 Years after the first international event in Neumarkt this Years Xplus1 Show is going to be an international competition again. In 2001 the first EMMA Eurofinals ever took place in Neumarkt where the EMMA GmbH is located. So now 10 Years later we will Party again.

From February 24 to 28 the international Head Judge training will take place in Germany. In addition to the educational programm a conference about the development of EMMA on a global level will be organised. The deadline for registration is January 31.
